I disabled Asus Q-Installer when I first saw it after booting up. Now, after updating the bios, I was wondering if re-enabling it to update drivers, is a good idea.

I wouldn't.
I'm a huge fan of ASUS motherboards, but I try to avoid all motherboard utilities.

I agree with checking for updates. It's been a while now.
I have used both the cap file and the automatic installations but rely upon the cap file manually.
Digressing may I ask if you use the stock file explorer or another?

There are better apps for a lot of windows functions, but I am satisfied with most of them. The forum has lots of tweaks to tune file explorer to better suit.
