South Park Season Premiere - "Le Petit Tourette" - 10/3/07

I know this is early but we like posting the South Park episode info as soon as we get it, since it's unlike every other show.

This Week on South Park: "Le Petit Tourette"

Spoiler:

Chew10-01-07 07:49 AM

OMG!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

I just had to be the first. :p

PixyJunket10-01-07 07:52 AM

Can't wait! (Is it really necessary to post this two days early?)

MrChaos10-01-07 07:53 AM

OMG.. This sounds hilarious. Cartman using ANOTHER illness to his advantage.

"What exactly is wrong with you?"

"DUH, how am I suppose to know. I'm Retarded!"

Um. You're supposed to wait until the morning of the airing before posting an episode thread like this. -rolleyes-

In order to keep these threads readable and user-friendly, please try to hold-off on starting an episode thread until the morning the show airs. The reason for this is so we can make sure that the thread does not get bogged down in speculation and anticipation-type posts before the actual discussion of the show gets going. (Many people do not read the threads until after the episode has aired and it can be a pain slogging through two pages or more of "Can't wait!" type posts.)

Can't wait!

Not for South Park. We generally post the South Park info as soon as it's made public, since episode information isn't available way in advance like other shows.

I fail to see the difference in the end result of a thread full of "Can't wait!"s unless you're simply trying to brag that you found something on their website first.

Can't wait!

Huh? All I did is what we usually do with South Park. When the information becomes available, it gets posted. I'm not taking credit for finding it first. It's an announcement.

Mopower10-01-07 08:13 AM

Not this "too early" sh*t again. Who gives a f*ck?

dhmac10-01-07 08:50 AM

I think it should always be OK to open a thread on a "Season Premiere" of any show a few days early simply as a heads-up to everyone that new episodes are coming on. The "start the thread only on the day of broadcast" rule really shouldn't apply in those cases.

DaveNinja10-01-07 11:53 AM

I'm glad this was posted early so now i can remember to watch it

redrum10-01-07 12:04 PM

season premier? isn't it just the second half of season 11?

Charlie Goose10-01-07 12:11 PM

"Too soon!" says the Giant Douche

"Can't wait!" says the Turd Sandwich

Tell me about it. I don't hear people bitching in the Movie Forum when a thread is created years before a movies release.

vwbeetlvr10-01-07 04:06 PM

can't wa1t!!!!!!1

Red Dog10-01-07 04:15 PM

How did they not come up with idea sooner.

And  for the early notice so I could set up a recording. f*ck the same-day 'requirement.'

DRG10-01-07 04:34 PM

I think the "morning of" rule shouldn't apply to season premieres, because it's nice to have a little advanced warning that the show is back so people can set their tivo/dvr/vcr. Especially for cable shows because if you don't watch that channel regularly you might miss the promos.

Always excited about new South Park.Looks good :)

CKMorpheus10-01-07 05:38 PM

Woot woot! This show deserves to be posted about the moment the plot gets announced. Each episode is like an event... Everyone at work and school chat about it, the ultimate water-cooler show. "Hey did you hear, South Park is gonna take on World of Warcraft/Scientology/Tourette's this week!"

Yeah, those silly, jealous people actually following forum rules. http://img473.imageshack.us/img473/1592/boredby9.gif

However, I do agree that South Park could/should be the exception to the rule (if so decided)..

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:02 AM.
