The University of Louisville is an amazing school. There are some aspects like their courses, labs, and student resources that I really enjoy! They have an amazing food selection and an expensive meal plan to be able to enjoy those amenities. The things I would like to see change are the financial resources and staff that work for the university as well as some of the requirements for change. Most of the office staff that I have dealt with are a bit impatient when I am just looking for some guidance but if that is my only complaint I'd say they are doing just fine.

Overall, my experience with Louisville has been very good for my Freshman year. They have been very accommodating and understanding with housing as my being as a trans woman, and within student life and the general atmosphere, I have felt lots of love. The student organizations host lots of events in which I can find spaces and people to be myself around, and I have even gotten into participating in some such as the Cardinal Drag Haus. Queer life at Louisville is incredibly accommodating but instances of prejudice or violence against queer people, I would like to see the university hold certain student organizations accountable. There was an incident regarding another trans woman at a fraternity and said fraternity faced almost no repercussions for the harm that the woman had gone through, and it has made me conscious and concerned about whether the university's activism is performative.

My experience was tremendously the best thing ever, I got selected to do many things for the Louisville community for example, I got to participate in the national honor society. In which, the national honor society is about how you can be a leader and what choices will you make in your future. I like how I got to socialize with other people that are from Lousiville but also from other states as well. Their were many people you can ask for help like profressors, students, and even the alumni. The thing about the Louisville community we never give up on each other and we encourage others to join an organization or club that you could fit in to succeed in the long run. Their is nothing that really needs to change besides safety because we do have a big campus and their is over 23,000 students on campus and also even afterschool is over their are college parties and those can be dangerous.
