Harlan James Knight (Bucky), born March 25,1976went to be with our Lord on June 4, 2018. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1994 and went on to work with Washington Group as an ammunition handler. Then ending his career at Mondi. He was a member at Oak Grove Baptist Church. He loved hanging with his friends, playing golf, musicandtrivia. He is preceded in death by his father, Harlan Leroy Knight of Pine Bluff and step-father, Jerry E. Courtney (Buck) of Woodlawn; paternal grandparents, Harlan Jesse Knight and Ruby Wolfe-Knight of Pine Bluff; maternal grandfather, Richard Lunsford of Rison.

He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Francis J. Greenlee-Lunsford of Woodlawn; mother, Carolyn Gail Lunsford-Courtney of Woodlawn; brother, Kevin Lee Knight of White Hall; sister, Michelle Knight-Caple of Redfield; aunts, Pat Booher of Woodlawn, Betty McNeill of Pine Bluff, Barbara Bowden of Warren; uncles, Richard (Margaret) Lunsford of Tyron; Jimmie (Vickie) Boyd of Woodlawn; nieces, Heather Knight of Arkadelphia, Jamie Knight of Arkadelphia, Skylar Caple of Watson Chapel, Macie Brown of Sheridan; nephew, Tyler Caple of Redfield. Bucky was loved by many more cousins, friends and relatives including his ex-wife, Kim Kaye Bush (Kimbo), four step-children, Amber Bush, Anthony (Drew) Pruitt, Ariel (Air) Pruitt and Alana Kaiser along with three step-grandchildren, Jay, AndrewandAnnaleigh.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 8,2018at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with interment in Rowell Cemetery. Audrey Wilborn

Audrey Jasso Wilborn, 86 of Pine Bluff, passed away, Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Born July 25, 1931 in Texas, she was a daughter of the late Fermin Jasso and Martha Martinez Jasso.

A homemaker first and foremost, Mrs. Audrey retired in 1987 from HDRS (Human Development Resource Services) after several years of service. She was currently the owner/operator of Buddy’s Furniture & Appliance alongside her husband.

Her pastimes included fishing, working in her flower garden and sewing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two infant children; step-daughter, Veronica Johnson; and five siblings, Frank, Phelix, Bill, Charlie and Mary.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Buddy Wilborn; brother, Joe Jasso and wife Carolyn; sister, Minnie Dempsey; granddaughter, Dawn; two great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 9th, one o’clock in the afternoon at

Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Reverend Jeff Jasso officiating.

Burial will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday evening, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Vernida Tyler

Vernida Carr Tyler was born August 29, 1944 to the late Coatney and Julia Carr. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and united with St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She departed this life on Saturday, June 2, 2018.

Ms. Tyler served several years in the Air Force. She also worked at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in the Personnel Department as director until she retired after twenty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Coatney and Julia Carr; and a brother Richard Carr.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Leroy Tyler Jr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one grand daughter, Tenisha Tyler of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one great grand son, Willie Chambers Jr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one brother, Henry Chandler (Rebecca) of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Judy Finley of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Ruby Jean Kennedy of Modesto, California; two nephews, Thomas Terry III of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at the P.K. Miller Mortuary. Interment will be in the P.K. Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be held this evening at the mortuary from 5-7 p.m.

Ollie Barron

Mrs.Ollie M. Barron passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the P.K. Miller Mortuary.

Willie Warfield

Mrs. Willie Mae Warfield, 88, of Pine Bluff, AR passed Saturday, June 2, 2018.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church by Father Joseph Marconi. Interment will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.

Rosary Service will be today, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home.

Bruce McAllister

Mr. Bruce Allen McAllister, 53, of Pine Bluff, AR passed Monday, May 28, 2018. He was born on Tuesday, January 5, 1965 in Sand Hill, MS.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at New Community Baptist Church by Pastor Patrick Lockett, Sr. Interment will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.

Visitation will be Thursday, 5:30-7 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home.

His body will lie in-state Friday, 9:45 a.m., until service.
