Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Estimator Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our estimating department by utilizing Xactimate software, making basic calls to insurance companies and customers, and assisting with Request for Proposal (RFP) paperwork. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our insurance restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities
Xactimate Usage:
Utilize Xactimate software to assist with the preparation of detailed estimates for insurance restoration projects.
Input and update project information accurately within the system.
Generate reports and documentation as required for project submissions and evaluations.
Communication:
Make basic calls to insurance companies to gather and verify necessary information.
Communicate with customers to provide updates, gather additional information, and answer basic queries.
Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
Assist with the preparation and submission of RFP paperwork.
Organize and maintain project files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, inspections, and follow-ups as needed.
Support the estimating team with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance restoration or construction industry.
Proficiency in Xactimate software is highly desirable.
